A.I.M’s drone detection systems are capable of identifying the most common selected commercial and recreational UAV types at a range of over 5km* approaching from all directions. Real-time alerts sent via email and text mean security personnel get plenty of advanced warning to take action.

Signal Intercept
Depending on the drone type, DS-8 drone detectors can also pinpoint the precise location of a drone. On selected drones, our drone detectors can intercept the GPS data and display the drones flight path on the User Interface.
Because they work by picking up the control signal, DS-8 detectors can intercept the video feed from first-person view (FPV) drones on selected drones, useful evidence when it comes to potential prosecutions.
Fixed and Portable Options
The DS-8 system is available in two types. The fixed mount DS-8 AI (Artificial Intelligence) is ideal for permanent installation at a stadium, racecourse or other outdoor venues in regular use. The portable all-in-one DS-8 RD (Rapid Deployment) is designed for mobile deployment, perfect for temporary and one-off events.

Detection is only half the story in terms of stopping the threats posed by drones once and for all. Once you know a drone is there, you also need a means of preventing it from trespassing, filming or threatening the security of your event.
Similar to the drone detection units, A.I.M’s drone mitigation solutions are available in either fixed or portable versions. Both versions are highly capable in defending your airspace against drone intrusions and operate by triggering the return to home functions on drones with the capability. Drones that do not have that capability will simply land on the spot.
