Multi-sensor technology means the DS-8 drone detection systems are effective against a large variety of controlled drones. Each unit can identify FPV, Wi-Fi and RF drones as standard. The detectors have been integrated to include GPS tracking sensors, which allows the unit to track the navigational path of a compatible drone, as well as intercept the video signal feed used in first-person view (FPV) drones.
Wide Area Omnidirectional Scanning
The skies over the open seas are vast, making it next to impossible to pick up the approach of small UAVs by visual means alone. But that’s no issue for our DS-8 systems. With a range of over 5km*, they provide full 360 degree monitoring in every plain, alerting you to the approach of a drone well before it reaches your vessel, no matter what direction it comes from.
