High Accuracy Detection
A.I.M’s DS-8 drone detection systems are capable of identifying as standard the three most common signal types used by controlled drones, providing highly accurate detection for the majority of commercial drone types. GPS sensors have been integrated into our DS-8 portable and fixed detectors, allowing the unit on selected drones to track the flight path of drones that use satellite navigation, and for video signals used to fly first-person view (FPV) drones.
Long-range scanning
DS-8 units have a vast detection range of over 5km* and scan for UAV signals in all directions, providing plenty of advanced warning of an approach no matter where the drone is in the sky or what flight path it takes. As soon as a drone control signal is identified, alerts are automatically sent via SMS or email to prompt further investigation and information will be displayed on the single user interface.

While the fixed DS-8 AI (Artificial Intelligence) is ideal for deployment on buildings, the all-in-one DS-8 RD (Rapid Deployment) complete with CPU and control screen is tailor-made for drone detection on the move for protecting everything from drills to convoys.
